GRANT PROGRAM

The Mahwah Schools Foundation is a parent volunteer organization whose mission is to support excellence, creativity, and innovation in the Mahwah public schools. The MSF fundraises throughout the school year in order to fund great ideas that energize the academic and creative lives of Mahwah students but are above and beyond our school district budget. Our grants are teacher-driven! No one knows better what students need to increase their academic success, foster their creativity, and support their well-being than our amazing teachers. You dream it, we fund it!

GRANT CRITERIA/APPLICATION PROCESS

MSF Grant Criteria:

• Link directly to Mahwah Public Schools’ mission and curriculum
• Enhance existing curriculum and/or instruction
• Expand educational experiences of students
• Apply innovative and creative teaching and/or learning methods.

Please discuss your grant request with your school’s principal, in case it’s something that can be covered by your school’s budget or through the district. Once the grant process closes, the principals will have a chance to review the applications submitted. This will happen before we start the review process with Dr. Fitts and the administrative team.
